Why did that School House Rock Conjunction Junction song just enter my head? Weird, huh? Enough about what’s living in my brain during the quarantine and onto more comedy! This coming Monday, April 27th, join your favorite NY comedy sketch troupe UNCLE FUNCTION for a Livestream Show benefiting Food Bank NYC. Just like your IRL uncle, the merry band of laugh wranglers will be “making you laugh, cry, think, feel moderately uncomfortable, and then send you back to your parents forever changed.”
Monday, April 27th on YouTube, the group of Chris Cafero (Inventing Anna/Netflix, The Other Two/Comedy Central), Russell Daniels (UCB Maude Night), Jessica Frey (The Characters/Netflix), Douglas Goodhart (“Discover Card Guy”), and Gianmarco Soresi (Hustlers, Deception/ABC) will broadcast live with original sketches, music, and comedy, featuring special guest and two-time Tony Award-Nominee Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice, School of Rock). W00t! The show will be streaming for FREE, and you will have the opportunity to donate direct to the hunger-relief organization throughout the broadcast. This should be one dunkin’ function of laughter eruption! Yeah, I went there. Oh, the shame!
