From the comedian and writer who brought you the New York Times Bestseller “Felines of New York” comes a brand new comedy album, out February 28 via Blonde Medicine. OATMEAL by the former Coast Guard enlistee, JIM TEWS, was recorded live at The Setup in San Francisco. On the album Tews gets a little more personal than his last album, I Was in Band. His engaging storytelling unleashes topics that dive into those more squishy feelings. Oatmeal also offers coverage of those nagging life questions like “Should I start vaping?” and “Why did I go to film school?” Tews comes up with new quality phrases like “bong-cierge”and the self-deprecating “gassy little angel” AND, thank the Lil Bub gods, he’s left enough room for his feline friends on the album. As it turns out, we just so happen to have a cat-themed track from the upcoming album this very day. Enjoy “Cat Waiter” now!
