That time when the heart knows what is knows is just around the corner. So what better way to celebrate than with a quirky variety show that will tell the history of Valentine’s day, as well as the piercing heartbreak that goes along with it (via “hand-selected creators” and “silky smooth transitions”).February 2nd at Caveat, get ready for the SHALLOW B-RATE SPECTACLE of your dreams! The show will feature burlesque, cirque, drag, spoken word artists, and will be hosted by the “oooha ahhh ugh” (aka bedrooms sounds), which translates to Shelton Lindsay (Neofuturists), Zoë Schott & Bryen Pittner (House of Yes). As always, it is their mission “to bring underground entertainment to audiences willing to play (and laugh) along with” them. Sounds like a deal. Be still your tender hearts!
Mentions: Doors 6:30 PM, show 7:00 PM. Tickets $15 in advance, $20 at the door. 21+ . Caveat is located at 21 A Clinton Street, Manhattan.
