Are you enjoying all your pre pre pre Black Friday sales and trips to pick up relatives at the airport? I sure hope so! One real genuine treat you can add to your end of the year duties is the new monthly show called KISMET. Saturday, December 9th at The Knitting Factory BK will be the second launching of the show and it should be a doozy. This “Comedy Show of Chances” invites pro comics to spin a wheel to take a comedic risk LIVE on stage. No risk, no reward, right?! At the inaugural edition of the show, we have it on good authority Chris Gethard phoned a friend to run a new bit by them and it turned out to be utter “comedic chaos.” Now that’s some authorized hearsay we can get behind! The next show will include these tempters of fate:
Sam Jay (SNL, Comedy Central)
Mark Normand (Comedy Central, Colbert)
Josh Gondelman (Conan, Seth Meyers, James Corden, Emmy Award Winner)
Gina Brillon (Just for Laughs, NBC)
brought to you by
Caitlin Reese (UCB, New York Comedy Club) and Mike Lasher (Stand Up NY, Gilda’s Laugh Fest)
Did I mention there’s also the chance at having FREE BEER with your comedy? That just upped the stakes for sure. Be there and face your destiny!
Mentions: Show 8pm. Tickets HERE. Free Beer to the first 60 RSVPS!!! The Knitting Factory Brooklyn is located at 361 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211.
