Who is Atsuko and why should you see her show, LET’S GO ASTUKO? Atsuko Okastuka is a comedian and actress who will be bringing you a night of interactive games, videos, discussions, and talent from a plethora of entertaining movers and shakers in the style of a Japanese Game Show. She has written for shows like Adult Swim’s The Eric Andre Show & Soft Focus with Jena Friedman. PLUS, she has an hour special out on HULU called “They Call Me Stacey.” Enough of a reason to see her do her thing? Not yet? Wow, you’re a tough cookie. Let me tell you about the September 8th show happening at Dynasty Typewriter. Atsuko will welcome this humorous ensemble to her personalized game show:
Bryan Safi (Throwing Shade, FOX)
Baron Vaughn (New Negroes, Netflix)
Dani Fernandez (Nerdificent, Ralph Breaks The Internet)
Plus stand up from
Greta Titelman
OK, well we’ve come to the end of this post and I think you need one more tidbit of info. Atsuko’s parents met on a Japanese game show and she grew up watching them, hence she was meant to meet this calling. Now if that’s not enough to peak your interest, then you’ll have to go elsewhere for your jollies. Happy trails!
