Don’t we all need a bit more humor in our lives? I mean, those laugh lines are really only good if you are actually exercise them! This Thursday at Caveat, join literary humorists for An Evening of Humorous Readings. These writers/entertainers have already put ink to paper (probably on a computer) and this week they’ll be reading those words LIVE in your face. These are humorpieces similar to what you’d find on McSweeney’s or Shouts and Murmurs, and they are just screaming to be released out into the wild air. Your guests for the evening will include:
Django Gold (The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, The Onion)
Kathleen O’Mara (McSweeney’s, Little Old Lady Comedy, The Magnet Theater)
Charu Sinha (McSweeney’s, The Belladonna, The Rumpus, A Great Week For Women)
and this whole shindig will be hosted by:
Brian Agler (The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, Splitsider)
Luke Burns (The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, New York Magazine)
James Folta (The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, Points In Case)
Won’t you join in the merriment? GO!
