Put on your happy pants because Saturday, December 15th at The Tank, friends Becca Beberaggi and Rachel Lenihan will put on 2 half hour stand up sets just for YOU! Beberaggi is a writer, comedian, playwright and singer from NYC. She has been featured in The New York Times and appeared at The Brooklyn Comedy Festival, The Finger Lakes Comedy Festival, Speak Up, Rise Up, and She Make Me laugh Femme Fest. In addition to her solo show “I laugh to Keep from Crying” receiving a limited run at the Tank’s Off Broadway Theatre Space this year, her web series “B-Sides” was an official selection of New York Lift Off Festival, IndieFest 2018 and The Official Latino Short Film Festival 2018 (NY & CA), and Third Eye Rebel Film Festival.
As for her totally distinct pal, Rachel Lenihan, the New York stand-up comedian, writer, and artist was a finalist in the comedy festivals, The Laughing Devil Cup, She Devil Cup, Ladies of Laughter, and the Stress Factory’s March Madness. Rachel was Writer’s Assistant for TruTV’s The Chris Gethard Show and co-produces a monthly show at Black Cat Les with Dan Abraham called “Study Break Comedy.” Now that you have that vital bio info out of the way, you will be pleased to learn that Matt Hunziker (Huffington Post) will hosting this fabulous event of taping half hours for Comedy Central submissions. That is all. Be merry!
