Is there anyone who didn’t feel misunderstood and isolated in high school? OK, maybe the popular folks, but this isn’t their story! In the spirit of those coming of age, nostalgia comedies of yesteryear, comes a six-episode series about “middle school in the new Millennium, made by a few of the survivors.” The series LIFE SUCKS features three adolescents who suddenly find themselves ostracized from their respective “posses” for reasons both out of their control and probably most appropriate for the circumstances. Finding themselves banished to the cold, cruel world of the losers table, Jake (Jake Mann), Ally (Allyson Condrath), and Max (Max Fox) begrudgingly team up to get through life in middle school in the year 2001. Watch the pilot episode created by the sketch comedy collective and writing/production team Dinner for One, directed by Ian Wexler, and produced by Kyle Miller. Enjoy Episode 1 now!
The series also features Noel Carey, Catherine Kennedy, Giovanni Naarendorp, Nathaniel Tayor-leach, and Adam Rapchik.
