Let’s face it, people are more familiar with the lives of current pop stars than with what goes on in their local city councils. Those stars are idolized, fiercely defended, and sometimes their fans try and make sure a certain movie flops so their star’s flick will shine. You know who you are! So it isn’t surprising that a musical sketch comedy show like should rise up out of that cult-like cloud. Brian Bonobos is the host of a celebrity gossip show “Pop Stars Are Dumb” and it is his job to dig up dirt on all your favorite pop stars, including Grande, Biever, Shirline, Gaga & more! Thursday, October 11th and 18th at UCBT Hell’s Kitchen expect “impressions, parody, topical jokes, wigs, sing-a-longs,” and all the pop star goss you can imagine. The show is written by Eliza Kingsbury, directed by Michael Hartney, and stars Andy Bustillos, Daniel Lempert, & Kingsbury. Don’t miss all the music and juicy gab!
