Normally I’d rather eat a giant bowl of quinoa with bug laced bark chips than go on a hike. However, there’s always time for exceptions! This June, come see comedian Jake Kornely of the great Northern Wisconsin lands recreate the experience of my personal dread, the hike (fun fact: Making a Murderer on Neflix was set in Jake’s hometown which made him nostalgic for Upper Midwest accents).
DON WATERSKI GOES UP NORT’ is Kornely’s one-man, interactive adventure and debut show at the Hollywood Fringe Festival and involves “a lovable yahoo that takes the audience out to the great outdoors to learn about animals, trees, and monsters that lurk in the forests.” EEeeek! Don’t worry, you’re safe as long as Don’s around (and a packed theatre). Spelunk down to those dates below!
Echo, echo, echo! See ya there!
Mentions: Tickets are $12. Flight Theatre at the Complex Hollywood is located at 6472 Santa Monica Blvd Los Angeles, CA. This show is directed by Hunter M. Altman (GO SKETCH YOURSELF! at The Pack) and produced by Jany Stehman (house sketch team Very Famous).
