Winter tour dates have been announced for Jude Treder-Wolff’s NEW solo-show, THIS ISN’T HELPING on the east and west coast. The show will be performed at The Performing Arts Studio in Long Island on Saturday, December 9 at 7:00 pm, The Tank in New York City on Thursday, December 14 at 7:00 pm, and the The Whitefire Theater in California on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 8:00 pm. The comedic show had it’s world premiere at the Speak Up, Rise Up Festival last summer. Creator/producer of the popular storytelling show (MOSTLY) True Things, Jude Treder-Wolff, is the star and writer of the new show, with original songs co-created by Treder-Wolff and musician/composer Wells Hanley. Also, Kevin Allison (RISK! podcast/creator and The State/MTV) is helping develop the show.
THIS ISN’T HELPING tells the tale of a long time therapist who must seek out therapy for herself after a bad case of burn-out. The world around her is so mad all the different kinds of therapy and self-help options she seeks out may not help. In this true account of Treder-Wolff’s own search for renewed hope, you will meet the characters who think they can help out the protagonist, including “wildly optimistic corporate trainer, an opinionated life coach, and mind/body therapist who was either the most relaxed, ethereal person or completely high.” We’ve provided all the show info you could ever need below, so mark your calendars today! Serenity now!
