The cast of the four-part series includes Bollywood star Anupam Kher (The Big Sick, Silver Linings Playbook), William Shatner (Star Trek, Better Late Than Never), Christina Cole (Suits, Casino Royale), and Mishqah Parthiepha (Keeping Up with the Kandasamys, Snake Park). Shot in Cape Town, Mumbai and Toronto, the comedy-drama features Peters as Doug D’Mello, a police officer from Toronto who gets swept up in a murder case while visiting his father, Stanley (Anupam Kher) a retired airline pilot in India. Doug uncovers a perilous conspiracy involving David Marlowe (William Shatner), a billionaire property developer, while coming to terms with the country that he feels considers him an outsider.
