I can’t even imagine a world without books. Smelly library books? Maybe. I jest, kids (but always steer clear of those GoT book mites). Saturday, August 12th at Union Hall comedians Colin Stokes (New Yorker, The Onion) and Blythe Roberson do the reading for you. Every month at BOOK CLUB, they tackle a new written work (so you don’t have to). Reading is hard! This month they will be talking about The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. Oh my! Roberson and Stokes will be joined by their literate pals:
Jaboukie Young-White (Rolling Stone’s 25 Under 25)
Monica Heisey (I Can’t Believe It’s Not Better)
Fran Hoepfner (The Onion)
Harris Mayersohn (McSweeney’s)
Come out and enjoy some book toting fun!
