Returning from performances at Chicago’s Apollo Theater, Barcelona’s Teatro Tinta Roja and London’s Canal Cafe, DYLAN BRODY’S Driving Hollywood opens at NYC’s The PIT Underground July 6th, running through July 22nd. The award winning humorist’s solo show, directed by Nancy Carlin and brought to you by Blue Panther Productions, promises “uplifting and hilarious storytelling,” touching on events from Brody’s childhood in Schuylerville New York to his adult career as an LA comic and writer (events that could dramatically affect the course of that career driving into Hollywood). Brody has performed with the industry’s top comics including Adam Sandler, Richard Belzer, and Jerry Seinfeld, and more. His TV credits include A&E’s Comedy on the Road, FOX TV’s Comedy Express and Showtime’s The Green Room with Paul Provenza. Fellow humorist David Sedaris, who Brody opened three years running, describes his work as, “Funny and fascinating…Unique and unpredictable”. My, oh my! See Brody do what he does best for this illuminating and comedic multi-week treat. Yes, you are allowed to see the show more than once! GO!
