Only at The Lower East Side Film Festival can you see 25th Anniversary Screening of Home Alone 2 AND take in the film, executive produced by Jason and Randy Sklar, called Poop Talk. Do wonders ever cease!? The seventh annual LESFF, happening June 8th-15th, invites New York audiences to experience innovative films and specialty nights for 8 day glorious days. This year’s fest will be filled to the brim with comedy, including Showtime’s new series I’m Dying Up Here about the Los Angeles stand-up scene of the 1970s, comedy shorts, live standup from Sasheer Zamata (SNL), Judah Friedlander (30 Rock), Jena Friedman (Daily Show with Jon Stewart) and other great comics, the NY premiere of Michael Angarano’s indie film Avenues, PLUS, as we mentioned before, Poop Talk, which examines our sh**ty obsession through the eyes of 50 comedians and experts taking a look at how we as a society deal with that “dirty” subject and what it reveals about us. You might also want to know that this year’s festival judges will include:
Sasheer Zamata (SNL)
Jeremy Allen White (Shameless)
Sam Levy (Cinematographer: Frances Ha, Mistress America)
Stephen Schneider (Broad City)
