“I used to be a guy experiencing the world and now I feel like the world and the universe experiencing a guy.” Don’t we all feel like that sometimes? No? Well, one guy does and his name is Jim Carrey. The comedian/actor joined Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday for a discussion about leaving the spotlight and achieving a balanced life. Carrey also demonstrates his ability to captivate an audience, as well as the popularity of his luxurious beard. (WARNING: some body hair talk)
During the interview, Carrey gets into his new Showtime series I’m Dying Up Here which is a “fictious history” of the 70s era L.A. stand-up comedy scene in which a group of comedians come out west to seek comedy stardom. Carrey shares some Comedy Store memories including hanging out with Richard Pryor.
Mentions: Watch Jimmy Kimmel Live weeknights 11:35/10:35c on ABC. I’m Dying Up Here premieres June 4 at 10PM ET/PT.
