Comedian/actor TODD BARRY (Bob’s Burgers, Master of None) has a new book out called Thank You For Coming To Hattiesburg: One Comedian’s Tour of Not-Quite-the-Biggest Cities in the World which chronicles his experience doing smaller market cities. He talked about the book with CONAN host Conan O’Brien yesterday where Barry relayed an example of the immense small town appreciation he can receive. He first noticed it on an Alaskan comedy journey where a town was so thrilled to have him, despite 6 nights of bombing.
Barry also talks about hiring an organizational expert to help him declutter. The only problem is he already knows how to throw out stuff. He also talks about reading Marie Kondo’s popular “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Uping and Organizing.” This organizational method involves examining each item in one’s home and only keeping it if it brings one joy. It looks like Todd may not want to evaluate his home inventory just yet. Enjoy!
Mentions: Watch CONAN weeknights 11/10C on TBS. Pick up Todd’s book on Amazon.
