The power of using words is a unique skill we gifted humans possess. What’s even more compelling is the power those words can have on one another. Hmmm… someone’s been thinking too much. Monday, February 13th, some literary humorists will read their words from their very own literary humor and use them for good purpose (we hope). An Evening of Humorous Readings will feature short humor pieces, like you’d read on McSweeneys or The New Yorker , from these literary guests:
Megan Downey (Higgs Weldon, Washington Post)
Ariel Dumas (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Colbert Report)
Zain Khalid (The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, Splitsider)
HOSTED BY
Brian Agler (The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, Esquire)
Luke Burns (The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, UCB)
James Folta (The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, UCB, The Neu Jorker)
Be there!
