Memba? Remember when we told you all about how great The Goddamn Comedy Jam was? Well, Comedy Central noticed Josh Adam Meyers‘ Los Angeles live show and you finally saw some of the biggest names in comedy deliver stories and music goods for a one hour special this past summer. Well, that was so popular that it was, of course, ordered to series and even goes by a different name, The Comedy Jam. This coming January, stars of the stage and screen will perform in front of a live audience where they will share “memorable moments from their lives that are linked with an iconic hit song.” From there they will live out their rock and roll visions, performing with The Comedy Jam Band. COMEDY CENTRAL announced today that Malin Akerman, Awkwafina, Jim Breuer, James Davis, Colton Dunn, Mark Duplass, Fortune Feimster, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Tiffany Haddish, Chris Hardwick, Bert Kreischer, Matteo Lane, Bobby Lee, Taryn Manning, Idina Menzel, Hasan Minhaj, Big Jay Oakerson, Jay Pharoah, Busy Philipps, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Sam Richardson, Jon Rudnitsky, Nick Swardson, Roy Wood Jr. and more will perform in the new series. Filming will take place at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood January 7, 8, 11, and 12th (You can still get on the wait list HERE). The eight-episode weekly series premieres Wednesday, March 22nd at 10:00pm ET/PT on Comedy Central and is produced by Ugly Brothers Studios and Tenth Planet. One more thing to smile about in 2017!
