Tuesday, October 25, the award-winning web series F’d will begin premiering its second season on Funny or Die. We can expect two glorious episodes each week during the seven episode season. The series will also screen at The New York Television Festival (NYTVF), which has named F’d one of their official selections for its flagship Independent Pilot Competition. Created and written by Ryan Gowland (Adam Ruins Everything, Red Shirts) and executive produced by Julia Wackenheim-Gimple (Red Band Society, Jimmy Kimmel Live!) the series follows three survivors of the post-apocalyptic world who happen to live in an RV. More often than not, this band of buddies get themselves into funny and hapless situations. The series stars Gowland, Wackenheim-Gimple, and Molly Hawkey (Molly From the Bachelor, Mad Men).
In the first season we got a feel for these wild characters and the doom-laden world they’d been thrust into. In the second season we find the survivors more accustomed to their surrounds, but not necessarily wiser. Characters Molly, Julia and Ryan will have to face the consequences of their actions which can only mean immense entertainment for the audience. According to the series creators, our protagonists will face “a huge new development” and “their reaction to this development will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen in a show about the apocalypse.” As Chris Farley would say, “Holy Schnikes!” Like season one, the second season will feature gobs of guests appearances. On the guest roster you can expect Damion Poitier (Captain America: Civil War, The Avengers), Laura Krafft (Grandfathered, The Colbert Report), Ithamar Enriquez (Key and Peele, Ithamar Has Nothing to Say), Jim Turner (Arli$$), Kimberley Crossman (Deathgasm), Carl Tart (Hashtaggers), Michael Coleman (Drunk History), Zabeth Russell (Bloodsucking Bastards), Jaime Moyer (Modern Family, K.C. Undercover), Jaason Simmons (Baywatch, Sharknado) and MORE! Binge watch the FIRST SEASON of the series NOW. There was a reason it was nominated in five categories at the Indie Series Awards and won for Best Comedy Direction. DO IT!
