It’s never an easy task for a writer to “Kill Your Darlings,” but, at times, cutting out material is a necessary evil. At DEAD DARLINGS New York’s hottest writers resurrect those pieces LIVE ON STAGE for one very lucky audience. In this case the Greenwich Village venue is so fitting it’s practically sinful. Wednesday, October 12th at the Judson Memorial Church come see writer-performer Amanda Duarte (co-writer of the Hurt Locker: The Musical faux-bill for Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Internet Feminist, downtown comedy and storytelling regular) host the hell out of this October SURPRISE show of second chances. The lineup is beyond tempting:
Cole Escola (writer-actor, Difficult People, Cole Escola Is The First Gay President)
Lucy Alibar (Oscar-nominated screenwriter, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Throw Me On The Burnpile And Light Me Up)
Julie James (cabarettista/radio host, The Julie James Show on Sirius XM, 54 Below)
Gretchen Robinette (photographer, The New York Times, High Times magazine, Rolling Stone)
Don’t let this show slip through your fingers. It’s going to be spooky fun!
