Comedy Central has greenlit a program starring one of our favorite comedians Moshe Kasher. Problematic with Moshe Kasher promises to muck about in the social media mire and try to quell that “online outrage” while raising interesting questions with experts, comedians and a studio audience. The weekly series is set to premiere in 2017 and will be executive produced by Kasher, Serious Business’ Alex Blagg, Jason Nadler, @midnight’s Jon Zimelis, and Dave Becky & Josh Lieberman of 3 Arts Entertainment. The comedian you know from Another Period, @midight, Not Safe with Nikki Glaser, The Meltdown and so much more says
“I see myself as the Phil Donahue of the Internet Age except not as funny or dialed into millennial culture… This show will create a safe space for offensive comedy and more importantly engender conversations that will completely end all acrimony, racism, sexism, trolling and whatever else you find offensive online once and for all. I promise.”
That’s quite promise, Moshe! At the very least, you can expect some amazing comedy from some very talented people. Stay tuned!
Mentions: You can see Moshe on the Hound Tall podcast TONIGHT at UCB Franklin. The topic is “Psychedelics” and Kasher’s guests will be Shane Mauss, Byron Bowers and more. Feature image provided by Comedy Central.
