Join writer and actor MARA WILSON (Welcome to Night Vale, Bojack Horseman, What Are You Afraid Of?) in celebrating the release of her first book, a memoir entitled Where Am I Now? (published by Penguin Books). You may remember Mara from her childhood work in Mrs. Doubtfire and Matilda. Well, guess what? Mara does too! Tuesday, September 13th at the Ace Hotel’s Liberty Hall in New York, Mara will read some ‘True Stories of Girlhood & Accidental Fame’ and also share those stories that didn’t make the cut. Wilson will be joined by special guests
Christian Finnegan (A&E’s Black and White, Chappelle’s Show)
Josh Gondelman (Last Week Tonight, Conan)
Phoebe Robinson (2 Dope Queens, Sooo Many White Guys)
who will share their own childhood stories and “brushes with fame.” The show will be followed by a book signing for those lucky folks that purchase a copy on site. Also, get ready for it “Cake is also likely”!!!! Once again, you had me at cake.
