If you are ever in dire need of feigning illness to your boss PLEASE consult the comedy of PAT BROWN because she has nailed down that “sick voice”. Is your voice feeling scratchy all of a sudden? Pat was named Best Female Comic at the Last Vegas Comedy Festival and her TV credits include BET’s Comic View, Gotham AXS Live, NBC’s Comics Unleashed and Comedy Central’s Laffapalooza. To add to her credits, Pat’s debut stand-up comedy album, SEX TAPE, will be self-released July 26th. The name of the album was carefully composed because, being an Atlanta transplant in New York, Pat felt that in order for the NY comedy scene to see what she was truly made of she would have to release some unfettered, “no-holds-barred” material ie. her own version of a sex tape. The album garners Brown’s penchant for intelligent, jocular wit infused with centered commentary. Race, religion, sexuality, and New York’s abundance of parades are no match for this talented comedian. Check out this clip from the video special on After Ellen:
Lucky New Yorkers come celebrate the release of Sex Tape July 26th at the New York Comedy Club. You will be gifted with a comedy show and listening party in honor of the album’s release. Guests include Nate Macintosh, Janelle James, Jon Laster and a surprise guest! Don’t miss out! The album will be out in both video and audio formats on the 26th.
