We’re all about finding those unique events for you to get your laugh on at. Lucky for you New Yorkers, there is a whopper of a storytelling series happening Saturday, July 23rd that you must tap into STAT. SUMMER STORIES: Music & Sounds is a monthly storytelling show hosted by The City Reliquary, “Brooklyn’s quirkiest museum,” where some of the city’s most popular comedians, writers, and storytellers present personal tales based on the month’s theme. This July the theme is “Music” and will feature these amazing folks:
Peter Smith (Katdashians the Musical)
Langan Kingsley (Funny Or Die)
Arti Gollapudi (Berklee College of Music)
James Folta (Neu Jorker)
Daniel Kolitz (The Printed Internet)
Ryan Haney (UCB)
Emily Gaudette (Inverse)
Jo Firestone (The Chris Gethard Show)
hosted by IFC’s Kady Ruth Ashcraft & Alise Morales
My goodness! How could you possibly pass that up (especially when there’s a donation based bar)? Come out to Williamsburg and get that story vibe going.
Mentions: Show 7pm. Summer Stories entrance $5. The City Reliquary is located at 370 Metropolitan Ave Brooklyn NY 11211.
