One of the most highly anticipated comedy films of the summer for little ole moi is The World’s End. The science fiction comedy film marks the final chapter in Edgar Wright‘s Cornetto trilogy. The fanboy director describes the trilogy to perfection in this featurette. Sean of the Dead is “the nonchalant Londoner’s take on zombie apocalypse.” Hot Fuzz is “the passive British policemen’s take on a Michael Bay film.” And The World’s End is a “quest movie with an extremely irresponsible King Arthur at the helm of it.” Diehards should be on the look out for thematic ties to the previous two films and many of your favorite players will be back in this pièce de résistance. The World’s End can be seen in theaters August 23.
