JERMAINE FOWLER (Friends of The People, The Eric Andre Show, CollegeHumor) is a highly sought after individual. Per Deadline, the comedian/actor’s multi-camera family comedy project was just snatched up by CBS. IN addition, Showtime has acquired the rights to a one-hour comedy special (named Jermaine Fowler: Give ‘Em Hell Kid for now) that features Fowler as star and producer. The special will drop Dec. 11 debut. The CBS project will include Fowler in a writing and acting capacity. In the comedy Fowler will play a character based on his real-life father who married at a young age and stayed together despite the obstacles of age, raising Fowler and his siblings. Fowler is currently creator, writer and star of TruTV’s sketch comedy Friends of the People. You can see him perform stand-up live all over the country. We look forward to all his future projects.
