Sure it may be the last season of the football fantasy league comedy The League, but that doesn’t mean the folks that play those amazingly maniacal characters will disappear. STEVE RANNAZZISI, beloved for his portrayal of Kevin MacArthur on the series, will be making us laugh hard this weekend with his stand-up special Steve Rannazzisi: Breaking Dad on Comedy Central. This is Rannazzisi’s second Comedy Central special. In the first special Manchild, the comedian/actor spent time talking about the challenges of raising sons. In the new special he will address strategies for parenting those very same tykes, in addition to covering subjects like little league coaching and pumpkin picking. Rannazzisi got his break in Los Angeles after catching the attention of Ashton Kutcher when he was performing at the Comedy Store. The comedian became a cast member on MTV’s Punk’d and went on to do much more television. In fact, you will be seeing Rannazzisi on Fox’s New Girl next year, where he will play an old college “friend” of Nick (Jake Johnson) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield). You have seen Rannazzisi appear in movies like Paul Blart: Mall Cop, but it’s always super fun to enjoy his tremendous storytelling skills in the stand-up world. His upcoming special was filmed at The Wilbur Theatre in Boston. Take a peek at what you can expect:
