No one ever said love was a cake walk. In fact, in the new series created by Damon Borrelli and directed by Melissa Martin, I’LL CALL YOU, the path to love is a treacherous one. In the first episode, we are introduced to an everyman (and writer) down on his luck in the relationship department. How sad is Jon’s state? Let’s just say the series starts off with his marriage ending rather abruptly. (WARNING: Adult content)
But there’s light at the end of that tunnel. With the help of his all-knowing friends and imaginary therapist (who reminds of SNL’s “The Continental” character), Jon begins the on-line search for “the one.” Unfortuntely, the dating pool is vast and that fairy-tale ending is far out of reach. Look for new episodes Thursdays on a weekly basis. The series stars Ben Hague, Brian Beaudoin, Sarah Silk, Jamie Silva, Patrick Jordan, Kelly Trumbull, Kait Schoeb, Erika Cuenca, Daina Griffith, David Whalen, and Nick Yousif.
