For those of you who are Dr. Who fans, faux-documentary connoisseurs, on the fence about immigration or all of the above, have I got the web series for you. From the creators of The Real Sims and Boomer’s Day Off comes a series that is not only a high quality parody of a geektastic franchise, but the storytelling is most thoughtful and giggle-worthy. Michelle Osorio’s Kill9TV tells the tale of an alien Dalek who is trying to fit into an Earthly society. He may have been sent on a very specific mission of destruction, but his opinion is slowly swayed through human interactions. Shot documentary-style there’s a bit of that Ricky Gervais-led The Office feel. Savor each episode like a fine wine because it will be over before you know it. That Kickstarter certainly paid off in dividends! (WARNING: Much “Exterminate!” language)
