We are totally on board with more comedians getting involved with programs you may not automatically associate them with. You’ve probably seen Eugene Mirman act as comedic relief on Neil DeGrasse Tyson’s Star Talk. Ben Glieb is the witty host of GSN’s Idiot Test. Never Not Funny’s Jimmy Pardo will be hosting Science Channel’s Race to Escape. Comedy is spreading like a funny virus! Another comedian who will be lending his talents to television is David Huntsberger. He already has some solid experience as co-host of Professor Blastoff, a podcast that covers science, philosophy, and humanities, which he does with Tig Notaro and Kyle Dunnigan. July 16th on SyFy the comedian/cartoonist/animator will be hosting a new show called REACTOR. The program is a comedic roundup of all things sci-fi. It kinda reminds us of The Wil Wheaton Project, but with more experimentation and comedic flair. Check out this promo that will having you seeing double followed by a bevy of blockbusters recreations done on the cheap. (WARNING: Miniature discount movie spoilers ahead)
Mad Max: Fury Road
San Andreas
