As part of the 2025 NYC Fringe Fest, Joanna M. Briley presents SWIPE THIS! MY LIFE IN TRANSIT at the Chain Theatre Main Stage (directed by Gastor Almonte). The show is a true tale of Joanna’s journey as a MTA Token Booth Clerk with 34 years of service who literally put herself in a box: mentally, sexually, and spiritually!! Can she find her way out of a system filled with missed connections headed for derailment or will she “swipe again here” and remain stuck behind the bullet resistant glass guarding her heart like a shield?
