Quick Dish LA: Kids in the Hall’s SCOTT THOMPSON as Buddy Cole in “The Last Glory Hole” Jan 22-25 at Lyric Hyperion

Comedian Scott Thompson from the “Kids in the Hall” brings his most famous character, lounge lizard Buddy Cole, to The Lyric Hyperion for an exploratory run of his new show “The Last Glory Hole.” Thompson will perform the show for three glorious nights on January 22, 24 and 25, 2025.

“The Last Glory Hole” is an evening of hilarious and incendiary monologues leading to an existential crisis where Buddy discovers that he is a fictional character. This new show is funnier, sillier and yet somehow more dangerous than ever. Join Buddy in an intimate setting as he mixes up martinis and dishes out the dirt on his fabulous globetrotting life all while reflecting on everything from the fractured state of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to what to do in the event of an alien invasion. Warning: If you like riotous boundary pushing comedy this is definitely the show for you.

Thompson is well known to fans as a member of the famous and ground-breaking Canadian sketch group KIDS IN THE HALL. He also played Hank Kingley’s assistant, Brian on THE LARRY SANDERS SHOW. After 27 years since their last episode aired, Scott and the boys revived Kids in the Hall for a sixth season on Amazon in May 2022. Scott is also in the new SCHWARZENEGGER series for Netflix FUBAR, the CBC hit series SORT OF and the Crave show SHORESY. He has appeared in feature films BRAIN CANDY, RUN RONNIE RUN, THE PACIFIER and MICKEY BLUE EYES and such television series as RENO 911!, TIM AND ERIC AWESOME SHOW, MAN SEEKING WOMAN and AMERICAN GODS.
