Tasty News: Special Screening of RAT RACE 10.19 at Village East Cinema for NYC Foodbank

There will be a SPECIAL screening of Rat Race (2001) to raise money for the NYC Food Bank October 19th at the Village East Cinema. Screenwriter Andy Breckman (Monk) will join for a Q&A with comedian and storyteller Gabe Mollica (This American Life) who successfully crowdfunded a rare prop from the cult classic film, a vintage jacket worn by the band “Smash Mouth” in the final scene. Gabe’s Off-Broadway show “Solo: A Show About Friendship” ran for over 80 performances at both SoHo Playhouse and The Connelly Theater Upstairs and was featured on episode 810 of “This American Life.” He’s also been featured on The Moth Radio Hour, Doug Loves Movie, and BBC Radio 4. Catch him nightly in New York City. Go grab them tickets before they go poof!

Mentions: Show 6:30pm ET. Tickets HERE. Location: Angelika, Village East Cinema | 2nd avenue and 12th street. All proceeds will be donated to the NYC Foodbank.
