Celebrate books with a night of sketch comedy inspired by famous novels with the acclaimed comedy team “Model Majority,” while it is still possible. This is the team’s 1st theater festival, and in honor of the upcoming #bannedbooksweek, they decide to write some literary-inspired comedy sketches. The Spark Theatre Festival NYC allows artists of different disciplines to present one performance of a polished “work-in-progress” with audience feedback. During the fest, books the group will referencing include Pride & Prejudice, The Outsiders, To All the Boys I Loved Before, Alexander Hamilton biography, Great Gatsby and more. “Model Majority” has been featured on GOOD MORNING AMERICA, CBS, NY1, and more, and you may have seen team members on TV and Film. Come join in the fun (without the dusty book smell)!
