All you do to me is talk, talk….and that’s a good thing! TOMORROW, August 15th join TALKIES comedy variety show as they welcome another jam packed roster of comics to Whammy Analog. West Coast’s best unconventional, experimental, and multimedia live comedy event encourages comedians, writers, improvisers, and performers to work outside of their regular routines and push the boundaries of comedy; PowerPoint presentations, characters, and off-stage antics are the order of the day.
Started in the San Francisco Mission District basement of Lost Weekend Video store, this monthly show has been an incubator for many unique comedy talents spreading their wings on weird flights of fancy.
Since Spring 2022 the show has found its new Los Angeles home at Echo Park’s VHS palace Whammy Analog. The Talkies crew has also curated events and performed at the Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive, Santa Cruz Comedy Festival, and the Nevada City Film Festival. Talkies regularly tours the Bay Area and is often a sell-out show at SF Sketchfest.
