Tell me why?… Have you tried new Downy Rinse and Refresh? If you perk up every time you hear those words sung in unison on your screens (even though you despise ads), you probably don’t hate a boy bands. This Friday, March 1st BOYBAND BREAKUP: The Musical takes you back to those times when you listened to your faves, like Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Boyz II Men and New Edition. This week you can witness the chaotic, on-stage collapse of a multi-ethnic boyband, the Groove Guys, just like you did before, only less heartbreaking. The musical sketch show is written by Izaak Sunleaf (Serendipity Comedy Duo, BoogieManja) and Ja-Ron Young (6pack At Britpack, BoogieManja), very loosely based on their experiences being profiled as a multi-ethnic musical group. A mix of sketch and song parodies will be brought to you by performers:
Ja-Ron Young
Izaak Sunleaf
James Koroni
Warren Chao
Devin O’Neill
and Connor Bowen
with credits and features including MTV, New York Times, Bustle, UCB, SF Sketchfest, Toronto Sketchfest and many more sketch festivals and shows!
Come see what it it’s oh, oh, oh, oh, oh ALL about!
