Weeding Out The Stoned is “The Game Show of Sobriety Tests.” The show features a gaggle of comics who enter the venue stoned, except for one lone, sober unicorn. It is up to the audience to eliminate the comics who have partaken of the green goddess, to uncover the”narc,” so everyone can win cool prizes. Stand-up comedian, writer, game show host, and “Detective” for the evening, Alex Gruband, will seek audience testimony, playing mind games and administering sobriety tests to the nation’s premier baked comics.
Read Alex’s description of what an audience member can expect: “The goal is to set people up to have fun and be funny. The games are generally silly with open-ended interpretations. Because most of the players are stoned, they have giggle fits and act goofy. Simple directions can be difficult. Answers aren’t supposed to be in the form of a question, but they often are.”
So in essence, there’s only one way to uncover the narc (and be thrilled about it), and that’s by weeding out the stoned! Enjoy!
