“I believe that Dinosaur World is the only place a boy like me can be happy.” Long before there was Only Murders in The Building, Martin Short was taking on the film role of a 10-year old child obsessed with a dinosaur-themed amusement park, doing anything and everything he could to achieve his dreams. The Clifford film may have not garnered critical acclaim, but it soon became a cult classic featuring comedic performances by Martin, Charles Grodin, Mary Steenbergen, Richard Kind, Dabney Coleman, Richard Fancy and more. TOMORROW, December 17th at Dynasty Typewriter, Hollywood Entertainmaint presents the first-ever major retrospective of Clifford’s genesis and legacy. Martin short, co-star Richard Kind, director Paul Flaherty and special guests “will examine the film’s hard-won battle into the comedy pantheon through cable screenings, word-of-mouth, and it’s legion of well known evangelists, from Elizabeth Taylor to Nicolas Cage.” Some of those fans (including Tom Scharpling) will appear in person to discuss the film’s impact and charm. Don’t miss this amazing event!
