From the team that brought you Chris Gethard’s Career Suicide, Oh Hello, and Jacqueline Novak’s Get On Your Knees comes a laugh-worthy run of shows. Starting it off, Mike & Carlee Productions will feature ANNIE HAMILTON: LOOKING FOR PAPA at the CHERRY LANE THEATRE July 11th, 12th, and 18th, 2022. This will be an encore residency following Hamilton’s sold out run at Cherry Lane in June. Per interviews at those other establishments, Hamilton is not a stand-up, instead she pursues the goal of reviving the lost art of the monologue. Hamilton’s acting credits include a role opposite Florence Pugh and Jeremy Renner in Marvel’s new Hawkeye series, she recently wrapped shooting on Mack and Rita opposite Diane Keaton, can be seen opposite Laura Dern, Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson in Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story, and can be seen as a guest star in Netflix’s Inventing Anna opposite Julia Garner and Laverne Cox.
