Comedian and musician Tessa Skara (High Maintenance, The Harper House, The Favorites Podcast) brings you “an hour of musical comedy, stand up, and (if the audience requires it) emotional labor” Saturday, May 28th at Union Hall. The Gay Songs for the End of Times event will feature “The Angel Olsen of Comedy” performing songs about “ex-husbands, celebrity assistants, and how it doesn’t get better, it just gets worse. Much, much, worse.” The show will also feature a full backing band, plus opening set by Marcia Belsky, all hosted by Karolena Theresa. Tessa has been named one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch, does a podcast with Jes Tom called The Favorites, and has performed in the CBS Comedy Showcase. Don’t miss this chance to see her and her cohorts perform live this holiday weekend!
