Since it’s just another one of those ordinary weeks with no major world-changing events churning, VOCABARET thought it would be fun to crank up the volume. THIS FRIDAY, March 11th, your favorite “variety show for word lovers” brings you an old fashioned style debate event called A TOURNEY AT LAW. Don’t you dare roll your eyes at that! This time the panelists will go head to head debating the world’s greatest language quandaries, ie:
Are puns funny?
Can the first half of a pickup line be used to greet a stranger?
Who gives a f*** about an Oxford Comma?
Are idioms for idiots?
In other words, they NEED answers to important questions!!! The panelists opinions and arguments will, of course, be “chided, derided and DECIDED” by this month’s host and debate moderator, Nikolai Vanyo. Do you have a problem with that? Then rethink attendance? JUST JOKING, come to Caveat and you will have an honestly amazing good time. And if you can’t make it, no problem! You can still grab a discounted ticket to stream the show on your own giant screen! Vocabaret will dropping fun surprises on their social pages—@vocabaret on IG and @thevocabaret on Twitter—so you can feel like you’re attending our show in your very own venue. Everybody wins! No word salads allowed. Be off with you!
