Everyone needs a crush in their life, right? Well, we’d be hopelessly lost without the creations of NYC sketch team Loser Bar. Before we inundate you with their hilarious works here’s a little background. Chelsea Catalanotto and Jesse Brenneman met at Sara Lawrence College. The two were a part of the school’s improv/sketch comedy group Lampoon and also began a satirical campus newspaper together called Full Frontal. After graduation Chelsea co-founded the sketch group Sextape, which Jesse later joined. The two wished to keep making sketches after Sextape production discontinued so they formed LOSERBAR with director/editor Abby Urban.
The group’s thought process begins every week at a local bar and writing ensues. Sometimes the team comes up with full drafts and sometimes the sketches are just inspired by funny experiences they’ve had during the week. So without further ado please allow me to present some of Loser Bar‘s smashing creative achievements. Enjoy (and this place sucks)!
