The week has arrived! Prepare for the Fifth Annual Chanukahstravaganza THIS Wednesday, December 1st, at Littlefield NYC. Native New Yorkers and Jewish comedians, Lana Schwartz (The New Yorker, The Hairpin) and Ilana Michelle Rubin (MTV, Reductress), will celebrate the “Miracle of Lights” with some of the most hilarious Jewish comedians in New York City:
Ophira Eisenberg (NPR’s Ask Me Another)
Maya Deshmukh (Azn Pop, The Other Two)
Anna Roisman (The Unemployed Show, Funny Or Die)
Anna Suzuki (New Amsterdam, Will & Grace)
Orli Matlow (Adult Swim, McSweeney’s)
Charlie Bardey (Vulture, Caroline’s)
Matt Koff (The Daily Show, The Onion News Network)
You don’t have to be of the Jewish faith to attend, but you DO need to know how to spell the holiday. Just kidding, you don’t even have to know how to do that! (Sad). Just be sure to enjoy the plethora of songs, laughter, surprises, and snacks that await you. Happy Chanukah or Hannukah or Hannukah! Is anyone else wishing they had some chocolate Babka in their belly right now? Sigh. OK, go get those tickets this instance, you festive people!
Mentions: Doors 7:30pm, Show 8pm. $12 tickets HERE. Proceeds from the show will also go towards the Holocaust Survivor Initiative. People of all faiths are welcome. Littlefield (635 Sackett Street, Brooklyn NY 11217) is an all-vaccinated event space. Arrive early for best seating.
