Don’t be an artful dodger! Saturday, October 2nd, join the MODERN WHITNEY show for a night of art “appreciation.” Three comedians will riff on what they think famous art means, followed by the real experts giving those comics the goods on what they actually mean. The FREE public show is made possible by City Arts Corp Grants, part of a recovery initiative designed to help artists hit hard by the pandemic, and left out of other funding opportunities. The night will feature the art assessing talents of:
Mic Nguyen, writer and comedian who co-hosts the comedy podcast, Asian, Not Asian
GARA, comedian and performer based in NYC most known for the podcast, EN(BA)BY: A Podcast About Gender
Christi Chiello, stand up comedian known for her work on Comedy Central
and hosted by Manolo Moreno, co-host of cult-favorite podcast, Dr. Gameshow with Jo Firestone (which started on WFMU, moved to Earwolf, and currently resides on the Maximum Fun network)
ART, it’s what makes life fun. Don’t miss out!
