May 18th through the 30th ReelAbilities Film Festival Toronto will showcase Canadian and International shorts, features, and documentaries about Deaf and disability cultures from filmmakers and actors with similar challenges. The film festival will include online presentations of 15 films including the Opening Night screening of Kyrill Mikhanovksy’s Give Me Liberty, a dramatic comedy about a perpetually late medical transport driver. On May 30th the 6th Annual Festival will have a Closing Night event featuring the Youth Shorts Program. Six short films from around the world will be featured including Canadian films: #HospitalChic by Ophira Calof, Fluid by Mari “Dev” Ramsawakh, and Endomic by Camille Hollet-French and Ipek Ensari.
The ReelAbilities Comedy Night will return May 27th with a wide range of comedic mediums from Toronto and Ottawa. ReelAbilities Comedy Night will feature a mixture of live and filmed content from talented comedians including

ReelAbilities Comedy Night will be followed by an online community after-party to add that cherry to the night’s hilarous events.
The ReelAbility fest will also include ReelEducation Matinees offering exciting at-home workshops for all ages May 18-21st. ReelAbilities Film Festival will also include workshops, filmmaker Q&As, and post-screening panels and events where audiences are invited to hear more from Festival filmmakers, creators, and artists.
