Kids, we made it through 2020 practically in one piece! Unfortunately (or, for some hobbits, more fortunate) Cali is still under lockdown, so that means events continuing to going VIRTUAL in 2021. We are usually welcomed with a slew of SF Sketchfest events early in the year, but this time things are a bit different. Instead of a month of the best entertainment brought to you at different physical locations, you are getting the virtual event of the year live-streamed to celebrate 20 years of the festival. Brace yourself for “an epic smorgasbord of all-star SF Sketchfest alumni” bringing you FESTPOCALYPSE! comedy sketches, improvised, scenes, game shows, hilarious debates, musical performances, chats, all on one day. The show will be streamed live on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 5:00pm PT / 8:00pm ET, and ticket-buyers will have the ability to watch a replay of the event through Monday, February 1st at 11:59pm PT. The virtual event will help raise funds to keep SF Sketchfest, the independent and locally grown small business, afloat during the ongoing shutdown. Fans can further support the fest further by buying various tiered tickets that include a virtual VIP afterparty with select performers from the show and special one-of-a-kind merchandise and swag items.
