Yeah, it’s hard to believe we’re already thinking about post-summer festivities but, hey, that’s how we roll. The third annual All Jane No Dick Comedy Festival will be held October 16–19 in Northeast Portland. The four-day event will show off the best up-and-coming and nationally headlining female comedic performers from the United States and Canada. Girl power! Currently, the festival is accepting submissions through July 1. You just have to click HERE to apply.
The 2013 All Jane No Dick fest included stand-up showcases, improv, sketches, podcasts, panel discussions, workshops, performances from Cameron Esposito, Lauren Lapkus, Jean Villepique, and the Portland premiere of the documentary feature Women Aren’t Funny, produced and directed by headliner Bonnie McFarlane. So you should expect big happenings in 2014! Tickets and passes are not yet available but keep checking HERE for more details as line-ups and ticketing structures are finalized! Most events will be taking place at Curious Comedy Theater in Portland.
Mentions: Curious Comedy Theater is located at 5225 N. Martin Luther King Dr., Portland, OR. Curious Productions is the first non-profit theater in Portland devoted entirely to the art of comedy.
