When we last left Odysseus, a Cyclops was getting his eye poked, the crew was blown off course, with the help of Aeolus’ bag of toots, and Circe was turning ODDy’s men to swine. So how could it possibly get worse? Oh, IT CAN! (Glances awkwardly at 2020). This time the Troubies give the audience a multi song tale where Penelope must keep the suitors at bay, while Odysseus is overcome by the haunting calls of those bird-like Sirens. Hmm, that tune does sound awfully familiar (and is thankfully NOT that FIOS by Frontier ad jingle). Enjoy Episode 4: Sirens and Suitors with the Troubies in Homer’s The ODDyssey!
This episode features the cast of Michael Faulkner (Oddyseus), Amanda Pajer (Penelope/suitor), Cloie Voilet Taylor (suitor), Matt Walker (suitor), Suzanne Jolie (Siren/suitor), Beth Kennedy (Athena/Circe/suitor), David Wright (sailors), and Matthew Patrick Davis (Musical Mattikos).
